Pre-Screening Facility Services
Home is not a place, it’s a feeling.
Choosing a long term care or assisted living facility is a complex task filled with emotion, many factors and options. You want to make the best decision you can for your loved one but there are many choices, many cultural differences between them; traditional nursing homes that look like hospitals, facilities with concierge desks and chandeliers, facilities that are homes in neighborhoods and facilities that are more like cabins in the country, with everything in between. You know your loved one best and which environment they’d thrive in. You also know your budget and the medical needs, which have to be taken into account in these decisions.
Insite has experienced staff to dig deeper past the initial sales pitch of the admissions staff by inspecting the facilities, interviewing staff and residents, reviewing state inspections on the facility and administration and report back to you on our findings. Whether you are down the street and want a third party opinion or you are hours away and are trying to choose a destination over the phone, this decision is one not to be taken lightly. We are happy to compile a list of facilities within the area you’ve chosen based on the criteria you’ve given, let you narrow down the scope then visit those you’ve ranked as most likely to meet your needs. If you’ve already narrowed down your list and would like someone with a trained eye to provide you a detailed report on those you’ve chosen, we’d be happy to help you get all the information you need to make an informed decision.
Insite is not in a position to recommend a facility over another. We advise you to always seek the counsel of an attorney prior to signing any admission documents.
